Broysewicz is currently joint venturing with Greg LeMond and David Kalman in forming a professional cycling team. Cycle EastLake!, a benefit event, is a non-competitive cycling tour that starts and finishes at Chula Vista Community Park at 1060 EastLake Parkway and includes four different routes that wind through some of the regions most breathtaking vistas. The four courses cover 12, 25 and 50 miles, with a separate course for the 5-mile Family Fun Roll or Stroll for walking, skating, jogging, cycling or tri-cycling. After the ride, participants and spectators can enjoy the Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center Health and Wellness Fair and Sponsor Expo featuring food, fun, freebies, and timely information on everything from exercise to aging, as well as fitness and health tests. A post-race concert will round out the event. Proceeds benefit the EastLake Educational Foundation, an organization that raises funds for all the public schools in the community. Last year's event attracted more than 600 recreational and avid cyclists, spanning ages two to 85, and raised more than $42,000. This years event is expected to beat that record.
