William T. Ostrem
President & CEO The EastLake Co., LLC. William T. Ostrem serves as president and chief operating officer of The EastLake Company, one of the largest master-planned communities in San Diego County. Mr. Ostrem is responsible for development and marketing for EastLake, a 3,200-acre community featuring a wide variety of residential housing options as well as retail, commercial and industrial areas. At completion, EastLake will have a population of approximately 22,000 residents, 8,900 homes, four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school, four million square feet of commercial industrial development and three retail centers. The community also features a variety of amenities including lakes, a golf course and several private residential recreation facilities. In addition, EastLake is home to the nation's first year-round warm-weather United States Olympic Training Center. Prior to joining The EastLake Co., Mr. Ostrem worked with Western National Properties in Orange County, California, providing fee development for The Irvine Company. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Ostrem is currently involved in numerous community and civic organizations and is on the Boards of Directors of several of those groups including the South Bay Family YMCA, the EastLake Educational Foundation, the Greater San Diego Division of the American Heart Association and the South County Economic Development Corporation. In addition, Mr. Ostrem serves on numerous building industry related advisory boards. |
